Bringing ideas and visions to life is the cornerstone of my work. Over the years I have worked across an array of industries and have been involved heavily in creative endeavors. It has been over 28 years of hard work and dedication to my craft that makes my work stand out.

My interests have spanned from land surveying to carpentry and many other areas in between.

I received my BFA in Fine Arts from Florida State University in the summer of 1996. My focus was installation art, photography, and sound. At that time I was in a band and worked as a radio announcer for WVFS, Tallahassee. I have worked in offset printing, screen printing, mold making, and carpentry.

I have been an artist assistant to two artists and designed, fabricated, and installed shows for Maya Stendhal Gallery and Tempst Projects. I have been a preparator at DC Moore Gallery and Champion Fine Arts. I managed the pack and crate shop at Mobius, Surroundart, and Artch Fine Art Services.

I worked briefly in the film industry in the art department on a few projects as well as a PA and site manager in experiential marketing.

Later I moved into marketing fabrication where I managed two more shops and spent time as a project manager.

In the past 3 years, I have moved toward operations and I have served as both a facilities manager and an operations manager.

I have engineered and designed thousands of crates and crate interiors for every type of art and artifact including George Washington’s death mask, many of John Chamberlain and Alexander Calder’s works, and hundreds more. I have worked on single-piece crates as well as multi-venue traveling exhibitions with hundreds of pieces in multiple crates.

As a designer, I prefer using Fusion 360, it’s well-rounded and powerful and an easy space to work.

The pages below are only a few of the projects I have worked on over the years. I wish that I had done a more thorough job at documenting, but I am improving every day. It’s part of my determination to always be learning and improving.
